Quality Assurance Technician 1
Roles & Responsibilities
- Document complaint samples received for evaluation.
- Prepare and ship sample return kits domestically and internationally; maintain tracking records and communicate status updates.
- Monitor inventory of shipping materials and order supplies as needed.
- Manage and process image/video review requests using TrackWise; maintain tracking logs and follow up on pending tasks.
- Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Escalate issues to Supervisor/Manager promptly.
- Ensure biosafety compliance and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Store and dispose of complaint samples per regulatory procedures.
- Support process improvements within the lab.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a laboratory or warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience in the medical or GMP-regulated industry is an advantage.
- Experience with image/video review or complaint handling processes is desirable.
Skills & Certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of FedEx shipping system (preferred).
Eligibilities & qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination, willingness to complete the series, or signed waiver required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
