Commercial HVAC / Piping Installer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC / Piping Install Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and 3+ years of experience in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. As an HVAC / Piping Installer, you will be responsible for installing grooved iron pipe, RTU HVAC units, and WSHP systems in commercial properties. This is not a sheet metal / ductwork role.

Preferred Skills and Equipment Experience:

• Familiar with layout and install of piping, Ductless, DX, and VRF systems
• Familiar with split system and RTU installations
• Familiar with dryside and wetside HVAC piping installations
• Familiar with charging, starting and testing these systems.
• Having Service history is a plus

This is not a seasonal position; it is permanent and full-time. Wage will be based on experience and discussed during the interview. Applicant must have a clean AZ Driver's license and be drug free.

Skyline Mechanical takes pride in the work and services we provide to our clients. Applicants need to share the same belief. We will provide training in house on any applications you may not be familiar with. Many of our existing service team have been with us for over 15 years.

General Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to layout and work on piping, WSHP systems, split systems, roof top units, and VRF systems
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems, identifying issues related to mechanical components.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all installations.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to plumb, weld, and refrigerate as necessary for system installations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installer role in the heating and cooling industry.
• Ability to perform grooved iron pipe, WSHP systems install, RTU replacements, piping layout knowledge, cooling tower replacements and various other commercial installations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
