**Position Summary**
+ **Technical Excellence & Mentorship:** Champion best practices in software engineering, including design patterns, code quality, testing, and operational excellence. Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and innovation.
+ **System-Wide Impact** : Collaborate with principal engineers, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define system architecture, identify technical priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals.
+ **Search & Analytics Expertise:** Design and implement robust solutions utilizing Elasticsearch for advanced logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and complex search functionalities.
+ **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Lead technical discussions, drive consensus, and represent engineering in cross-functional planning and decision-making forums.
**Required Qualifications**
+ **7+ years of experience** in designing, developing, and implementing Full Stack Java applications with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment.
+ **5+ years of experience** in building REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and MQ-based web services using Spring Boot.
+ **5+ years of experience** working on Azure applications/services.
+ **5+ years of experience** in Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT, and other DevOps principles.
+ **3+ years of experience** leading software development projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, setting project goals, monitoring progress, tracking milestones, communicating with stakeholders regarding project issues, and mentoring junior developers as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Capability to mentor junior.
+ Proficient in communication across multiple levels of an organization.
+ Ability to navigate technical teams to support the application with new initiatives and programs.
+ Experience in creating voice and/or chat applications.
+ Designing and implementing complex software solutions for APIs, microservices, CI/CD, etc.
+ Cloud development experience in Azure OpenShift Cloud.
+ Conduct design, code, and test case peer reviews to ensure developers are building scalable solutions.

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $185,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
