Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor and an awareness of ongoing events and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders, make menu recommendations, and upsell appropriately to enhance the guest experience. Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation and quality meet Blue 32 standards. Process guest payments, handle cash and POS transactions accurately, and close checks efficiently. Maintain clean, organized service stations and dining areas; clear and reset tables quickly between guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and resolve issues. Handle guest questions and concerns professionally, escalating to management when needed to ensure satisfaction. Skills & Qualifications Required Qualifications Previous customer service or server experience preferred but not required; attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, outgoing presence. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and major sporting events; reliable punctuality. Basic math skills for handling payments and making change; experience with POS systems is a plus. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift or carry up to 25 pounds safely. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high-volume or sports bar/restaurant environment. Familiarity with modern POS systems and mobile ordering platforms. Alcohol service certification (where applicable) or willingness to obtain required training. Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus for serving our diverse guest base.
