ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for Painting Railcraft USA products. The paintline overall ensures that the quality of the finished product is in line with Railcraft USA standards and customer specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for safeguarding all company confidential information obtained in connection with employment whether oral, written or electronic which shall include all information which has been specifically designated as confidential by the employer in a manner which ensures confidentiality as outlined in Railcraft USA. Confidentiality Policy.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and business code of ethics.

• Responsible to ensure behavior is respectful of all employees of Railcraft USA. and adheres to a respectful workplace that follows policies harassment and discrimination as set out in Railcraft USA. policies.

• Responsible to follow established Occupational Health and Safety procedures and policies in the workplace as set out by Railcraft USA.

• Receive priorities for day (according to schedule and Production Manager) from Lead at beginning of shift

• Conduct quality control check during all operations; do visual check of each piece prior to painting

• After painting each product, move it on the conveyer and then into the oven

• Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure the task is completed in an efficient, timely manner.

• Maintain a safe and clean work space to Railcraft USA. standards to prevent risk to health

• Wear proper safety gear (safety glasses, mask, earplugs, steel-toe footwear, etc.)

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related or delegated duties as needed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KPI’S

• Must meet measured linear feet of a Paintline – based on monthly budget

• Accountable – maintaining maintenance schedule that minimizes downtime,

• Personally responding to downtime in emergency maintenance call-outs within an hour of the calls.

• Maintain a safe and clean work space to Railcraft USA. safety standards

• Maintain production schedule to meet month end demands

• Work on continuous leadership growth and skills required for the position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE

• Willingness and ability to work hard physically; stand for most of the day

• Ability to lift/move approximately 50 pounds

• Ability to read and understand basic orders/drawings

• Comprehension of quality control

• Willingness and ability to learn

• Ability to communicate and work well with others

• Able to wear hearing protections, respiration use and grasping parts.

• Wiling to use air nozzle to clean parts

• Frequent bending to remove/hang parts.

• Occasional push/pull movement

• Contact with chemicals, powder/liquid paint and cleaning of area with solvents.

• Must be able to work independently as well as a part of a team

• Experience in manufacturing or construction.

• Reliable and punctual to work every day

• Willingness to work overtime on short notice and as required.

• Attention to detail, pride in workmanship and problem-solving skills

• Must be clean shaven for respirator use

• Follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

• Must be able to work in a fast paced, repetitive environment

• Willingness to help out in other areas as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS,KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE

• Highschool diploma/GED Preferred

• Basic English

• Previous paint line or related experience

• Basic computer skills

• Forklift
