Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician

Looking for steady weekday hours with the opportunity to make an immediate impact? This Maintenance Technician / Make Ready contract role supports a busy apartment community by preparing homes for move‑in and responding to resident needs, with occasional on‑call emergency coverage.
Position Overview
You’ll focus on preparing apartments for new residents while assisting with general maintenance needs. This role is ideal for a dependable technician who takes pride in quality work and maintains a professional, service‑focused attitude.
Essential Job Duties
- Prepare make‑ready apartments, including painting, minor carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs
- Perform basic maintenance tasks related to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with housekeeping and general property upkeep as needed
Qualifications
- Prior apartment maintenance or make‑ready experience preferred
- Working knowledge of basic maintenance functions
- Reliable, professional, and customer‑service oriented
- Comfortable participating in on‑call emergency rotation

- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
- Pay Rate: $21/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- On Call: Emergency coverage as scheduled
- Type: Contract
- Start Date: IMMEDIATE
