What You will Do:
We are looking for a High-Level FEA Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting simulations to understand and predict product behavior under different loading conditions.
- Conduct FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systems
- Build, develop and implement simulation models and algorithms
- Analyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisions
- Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior
- Create presentations and present for internal and external reviews
- Mentor and help train entry-level engineers
- Keep up-to-date with latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 6-15 years experience performing finite elements analysis
- Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis
- Proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, NX
- Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Aerospace industry knowledge preferred
Pay Range:$85,000 to 110,000
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
- This role is considered an on-site position located in Phoenix, AZ
- Substantial amounts of computer work
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
