Position Summary:
The Infusion Pharmacy Scheduler/Customer Service Representative plays a key role in supporting the coordination and scheduling of infusion therapies and pharmacy deliveries. This position ensures timely and accurate communication between patients, clinicians, and internal pharmacy teams while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments for infusion therapies, nursing visits, and medication deliveries.
Act as the primary point of contact for patients regarding scheduling, insurance verifications, and service updates.
Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, delivery drivers, and case managers to coordinate care logistics.
Maintain accurate records in scheduling and pharmacy software systems
Handle incoming phone calls and resolve patient inquiries or escalate appropriately.
Confirm insurance authorization and referral requirements prior to scheduling.
Communicate with third-party payers, providers, and referral sources as needed.
Monitor open orders and ensure patients receive medications and supplies on schedule.
Assist in documenting patient interactions and updating medical records as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by pharmacy leadership.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
1–2 years of experience in healthcare scheduling, customer service, or pharmacy support
Familiarity with infusion services or specialty pharmacy operations is a plus.
Proficiency in using scheduling software, EMRs, or pharmacy management systems a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient service.

Office-based - Northeast Phoenix
