Installation Technician
- Ability to lift items of light to heavy weight, up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to bend intermittently and repeatedly, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods.
- Must have adequate sight to read blueprints and other engineering documents and/or work orders and other field service documents.
- Performs scheduled or emergency service on products at customer sites.
- Trouble shoot and repair as possible.
- Render on site and phone technical assistance to customers
- Capable of providing on-site training of products
- STIG welding may be required for service and installations.
- Work with various departments to resolve technical issues: Engineering, Production, etc.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting according to company guidelines for expense reports, mileage reports, Field Service Reports, Service Tickets, etc.
- Back-up functions for down-time will be in Assembly Department, assembling components.
- Focuses on personal development within the required work schedules and parameters.
- Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines. Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties.
- Report all work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel.
- Unloading and staging of new equipment on job sites
- Inspecting equipment prior to installation and documenting any damage that occurred during shipment.
- Installation of new car wash equipment.
- Removal of old car wash equipment.
- Maintains tools, test equipment, and materials in a professional manner.
- Requires good communication skills.
- Provides superior customer service when interfacing with customers.
- Accurately perceives information from others.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Minimum one (1) year experience with Car Wash equipment.
- Strong Mechanical and Plumbing skills.
- 90% travel is required.
- Knowledge of proper use of power tools, i.e. hammer drill, grinder.
