QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent Phone etiquette
• Excellent interpersonal, telephone and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Punctual
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to maintain a self-motivated and self-directed schedule, address multiple projects in a timely manner
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
• Professional appearance
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Professionally administer all incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate individual, department, corps or program
• Greeting visitors in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner; assess their needs and refer them for assistance as needed.
• Receive and route inquiries including seasonal materials received in the office.
• Open and close dining and lobby areas (locking doors, turning off AC units, etc.)
• Maintain a flexible work schedule in order to respond to participants’ needs relating to meeting times.
• Assist in meal check-in via WellSky as needed.
• Assist with routine clerical duties as requested by supervisor
• Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties
• Other duties, as assigned as they relate to the position of receptionist.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. The employee must have the ability to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
