Healthcare Job Details

• Location: Phoenix, AZ 85008 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab – Adult & Geriatric Patients
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4x9-hour shifts/week (07:00 – 16:00)
• On-Call: 13-15 days/month, rotating weekends (on-call only)
• Estimated Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2750-$2820

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, radiology, or related specialty
• Current ARRT certification (R, CI*, VI*)
• BLS certification required
• Arizona State Radiologic Technologist License (AZDHS MRT) – pending acceptable
• Experience with PACS and Epic charting systems
• Proficiency in cardiac procedures: stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, cardiac ablation, mapping, angioplasty, EKG lead placement
• Ability to maintain sterile field and equipment
• Preferred: Level I trauma experience, teaching hospital background, isolation precautions, arrhythmia recognition, advanced cardiac device procedures

Cardiac Cath Lab Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Set up and maintain radiology equipment, stock supplies, and ensure sterile technique
• Perform EKG lead placement, prep access sites, and scrub for cardiac procedures
• Support cardiac ablation, mapping, cardioversion, angioplasty, and device insertions (AICDs, pacemakers, Impella, IABP, ASD closures)
• Work collaboratively in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs and electrophysiology (EP) labs
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for urgent cases
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic and PACS systems
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered healthcare environment
