Janitorial Worker

The janitorial worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces. This role ensures a safe, clean, and organized environment that supports operational efficiency and employee well-being.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in production and non-production areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and replace liners.
• Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies promptly.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks as directed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and facility-specific sanitation standards.

• Experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility with an understanding of safety protocols around production machinery.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning, mopping, and custodial tasks.

• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The work environment includes exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. We operate two shifts: the first shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and the second shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $47840.00/yr.
