Position Overview:
The Business Development Assistant supports the business development team in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and assisting in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in researching potential clients, markets, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
Support the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
Maintain and update the CRM system with client information, leads, and opportunities.
Coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups with existing and prospective clients.
Assist in preparing presentations, marketing collateral, and other promotional materials.
Track business development activities and prepare regular performance reports.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns and events.
Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager and wider team.
Handle correspondence, inquiries, and documentation related to client accounts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in business development, sales support, or customer service preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude.
