Accounts Payable Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join a fast-paced and collaborative accounting team. This is a contract role with the potential to convert into a permanent position for the right fit. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to both AP operations and general accounting functions in a growing organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and ACH payment execution

• Handle vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships

• Assist with accounting functions such as journal entries, accruals, and month-end close support

• Partner with leadership and peers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with full-cycle AP

• Proficiency with QuickBooks

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Professional, steady, and collaborative demeanor

Details:

• Type: Contract (potential to convert to permanent)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

• Location: Onsite to start; hybrid flexibility available after training

• Dress Code: Business casual
