RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12 hour shifts per week)
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts during contract period
• Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Role includes multiple shift types: 1 charge shift (12 hours), 2 clinical coach shifts (8 hours each), and 1 admin shift (8 hours) for chart review and audits
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience on day shifts preferred
• Clinical coach responsibilities include staff and patient rounding, resolving Pyxis discrepancies, addressing barriers to room assignments and staffing plans, supporting charge nurses with productivity management, and providing real-time coaching
• Handle equipment, medical, and supply issues impacting emergency department care
• Ensure sepsis workflow compliance and provide leadership visibility for safe operations
• Work in a 38-bed emergency department at a Level III Trauma Center
• EMR system: Cerner
• Required scrub colors: Black
• Facility is Stroke Receiving and STEMI Receiving certified
• NIH certification recommended but not required
