Job Summary and Responsibilities

Responsible for performing patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching, recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with the Program Director. Primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.

**This position is based out of Chandler Regional Medical Center and will also support St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center

Job Requirements

MINIMUM

3 years clinical experience in related area or specialty field.

1.Compact state or Arizona RN license (RN),
2.Arizona Advance Practice Nurse license (LIC APN),
3.National Certificate as an nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations:
a.CT NP-AACN,
b.CT NP-AANP,
c.CT NP-ANCC, or
d.CT NP-PNCB,
4. DEA registration (DEA),
5. American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (CT ACLS),

and
6. American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)
