As a Kennel/K9 Attendant, you'll play a vital role in caring for and managing our dogs. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and caring for our furry clients, ensuring they have a fun and safe experience while they’re with us, and keeping the facility sparkling clean for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Providing care and supervision for dogs of all sizes and breeds in a fully interactive environment.

• Assisting with customer service (check-ins, check-outs and phone calls)

• Performing dog spa, bathing & grooming services.

• Maintaining a clean and safe boarding environment.

• Administering medication and feeding dogs as directed by their owners.

• Providing lots of love and attention to our furry guests.

• Helping to manage daily operations of the facility.

Qualifications:

As a K9 Attendant, you should:

• Be at least 18 years old and have your own reliable transportation.

• Have flexible availability, to include weekdays, weekends and holidays (varying shifts, starting as early as 6 a.m, and ending as late as 9 p.m.) for a total of 15-30 hours/week. Must be willing to work increased hours during peak seasonal times, and must be available to work this upcoming holiday season (including Thanksgiving and Christmas).

• Have a passion for working with dogs.

• Be able to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds (previous experience working with dogs a plus).

• Have excellent customer service and communication skills (prior customer service experience a plus).

• Be able to work independently and as part of a pack. Reliability and punctuality are a MUST - our K9 customers are counting on us!

• Be willing to clean up after dogs all day long (you know what we mean) and work on your feet for 5-8 hours per shift.

Compensation: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour (based on experience) plus incentive pay and tips (+$1.50-$4.00 per hour typically)
