Vaco is seeking a Senior Accountant in Phoenix, Arizona! What stands out about this role? • High-visibility accounting position with direct exposure to Accounting & Finance leadership and executive teams • Opportunity to own key accounting functions including fixed assets, lease accounting, commissions, bonus accruals, and close activities Responsibilities include: • Manage and maintain the fixed asset subledger • Administer lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842 • Calculate and record commission and bonus accruals • Prepare and post monthly journal entries • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses • Support internal and external audit requests • Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements • Partner with accounting leadership on special projects and other accounting initiatives Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required) • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (Required) • Public accounting experience strongly preferred • Experience with fixed asset accounting (Required) • Experience with lease accounting/ASC 842 (Required) • Experience performing balance sheet reconciliations • Experience calculating commissions and bonus accruals preferred • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Phoenix (Required) • Salary $90-110k Bonus To be immediately considered, APPLY NOW!
