Responsibilities
Deliver: Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport settings.
Execute: Perform complex assessments, diagnoses, and emergency treatments in rotor-wing, fixed-wing, and ground transport environments.
Document: Ensure accurate patient assessment, treatment, and billing information is recorded during stabilization and transport.
Communicate: Maintain effective, timely communication with management, and internal and external stakeholders.
Support: Contribute to PR and marketing activities to bolster community engagement and awareness.
Develop: Continuously expand your knowledge base through mandatory meetings, clinical rotations, and continuing education sessions.
Comply: Keep all required licenses and certifications active and complete annual competency requirements.
Requirements
Active RN license to practice in the state of Arizona.
Minimum of three years (preferably five) in current critical care/emergency settings.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS required. NRP and instructor certifications preferred.
Obtain CFRN within twenty-four months of hire.
Previous flight or transport experience is an advantage.
Completion of the education/orientation program.
Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with diverse personnel and customers.
Adherence to weight restrictions for flight, maintaining a body weight below 235 lbs.
Able to lift up to 100 lbs and pass a pre-placement physical and drug screening.
