LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $62.02 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Highlights

• This position is a contract-to-hire assignment with potential to convert permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is:
• • Position 1: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Position 2: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Location: Onsite in Tempe, AZ

LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal laws
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns
• Ensure prescriptions are accurate and appropriate for each patient
• Maintain confidential and accurate patient and pharmacy records
• Advise patients on medications including dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Provide consultations on both prescription and non-prescription drugs
• Educate patients on medical devices such as glucose meters and blood pressure monitors
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as required
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy
• Proficient computer and electronic record-keeping skills
• Strong multitasking and communication abilities
• Fluent in English
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
