About the Role

We’re hiring a Forklift Operator / Flour Packing Technician for a long-term opportunity with a leading plant-based ingredient provider. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery and forklifts to pack flour into large-volume bags while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will also have the opportunity to transition shifts when available and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to fill 25–50 lb flour bags
• Run and adjust bag top formers and label machines
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move product and materials
• Monitor bag weight, seals, codes, and output volume
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Support the warehouse team with general duties as needed
• Ensure accurate and legible documentation of all required tasks
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• At least 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience required (certification highly preferred)
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working in environments with temperature fluctuations and noise
• Basic math, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Willingness to rotate shifts as needed

Preferred Skills

• Experience using bagging machinery or flour packing equipment
• Familiarity with material handling systems and software
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic

Physical Demands

• Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and lifting
• Standing for extended periods
• Exposure to dust, moving mechanical parts, and loud environments
• Ability to climb ladders and perform light repairs when needed
