About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 24 months PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice verified in the last 30 days Certifications: Active ACLS certification from approved vendor, Active BLS certification from approved vendor Must-Have: Life support certifications must be from recognized agencies No hits on state license to practice Driver's license to verify residency Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support where necessary. PCU travelers may be floated to various adult health units, including Med Surg and Observation. Occasionally, they may be floated to the emergency department or recovery area to take adult health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed. Previous travel experience is required. Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to secure a faster offer. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and are not allowed during the first week of the assignment. All candidates must have a comprehensive profile that includes their work experience and skills. Compliance with all background check standards is imperative.
