Substitute Teachers, Short-Term
Summary Ubuntu Academies is seeking a dependable and nurturing Preschool Substitute Teacher to provide general classroom support as needed. In this role, you will assist lead teachers in maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for our small group of early learners. Duties
- Responsibilities include supporting daily routines, facilitating activities, managing classroom transitions, and ensuring the social-emotional well-being of each child throughout the school day.
- Outdoor and indoor play
- Distributing snacks and lunches brought by parents
- Bathroom breaks
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Current fingerprint clearance card
- Previous and recent experience working in childcare
- Must be reliable, patient, and passionate about working with young children.
