AlphaGraphics on University (Tempe, AZ) is looking for an experienced Large Format Print & Signage Technician to join our dynamic production team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone skilled in vinyl graphics, wide-format printing, and signage production who is eager to contribute to a high-performance environment.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, typically 8:30am - 5pm Responsibilities
- Operate large format printers (HP Latex, Roland, Canon Oce, etc.)
- Prepare, cut, mount, and finish vinyl and signage materials
- Install vinyl graphics, wall wraps, vehicle wraps, and signs (interior/exterior)
- Perform site surveys and ensure accurate field measurements
- Maintain high print quality and minimize material waste
- Collaborate with project managers, sales reps, and production team members
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct light maintenance
- Assist with packaging, shipping, and installation prep
Required:
- 1+ years experience in signage, vinyl, or large format print production
- Strong understanding of substrates, laminates, and finishing materials
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Solid communication skills and team collaboration
- 1+ years experience in signage, vinyl, or large format print production
- Experience with site surveys and vinyl installations
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, FlexiSign, or similar design software
- 3M, Avery, or Oracal installation certification
