Audit Supervisor

Location: Chandler or Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

We are partnered with a highly respected mid‑sized CPA firm in the Phoenix metro area , with offices in Chandler and Scottsdale . The firm is seeking a full‑time Audit Supervisor who values collaboration, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to grow within a supportive, people‑first environment .

The Role

As an Audit Supervisor , you will take a hands‑on leadership role in client engagements, serving as a key link between partners, clients, and audit staff. This is a step beyond Senior‑level responsibilities and ideal for someone ready to supervise engagements and mentor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion
  • Serve as the primary client contact on assigned engagements
  • Apply strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement presentation
  • Research and resolve accounting and audit‑related issues
  • Review workpapers and financial statements prepared by staff and seniors
  • Supervise, train, and mentor audit team members
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business operations
  • Support additional accounting and advisory services as needed
  • Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area
What Our Client Is Looking For
  • 4–6 years of public accounting audit experience
  • Active CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA license)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Prior experience acting as an in‑charge Senior or Supervisor
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service
