Odyssey Technical Solutions is a state-of-the-art Repair Facility located in Round Rock, Texas that specializes in RF Generators, AutoMatch Networks, DC Power Supplies, Remote Plasma Systems, and Microwave Generators/Power Supplies.
JOB SUMMARY
Employee must demonstrate electronic ability, knowledge, and aptitude with minimal supervision.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
1. Associate’s Degree equivalent or higher
2. Employee must have a technical background
3. Any equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.
4. Must have a valid driver’s license by date of hire.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Technician must be proficient in:
- Comprehending electronic schematics.
- Setting up and using Test Equipment such as a Power Supply, DVM, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
- Troubleshooting failures down to the component level using education, equipment, and experience.
- Soldering and de-soldering electronic components of various types.
- Repairing, calibrating, and testing customer equipment with emphasis on quality of workmanship.
- Other non-specific duties and responsibilities a supervisor may require of the employee.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Personal computer, including word processing and permitting software; motor vehicle, telephone, cell phone, laptop, ladder or scaffolding, tape measure, and appropriate safety equipment.

Work is performed mostly in indoor settings. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate various pieces of office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
