Responsibilities:- Preserve vision and enhance the quality of life for patients with glaucoma and complex optic nerve disease
- Evaluate, diagnose, and stage a full spectrum of glaucomatous conditions, determining when medical, laser, or surgical intervention is indicated
- Perform comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for glaucoma and cataract‑glaucoma surgeries
- Conduct precise, evidence‑based glaucoma procedures using modern surgical and laser technologies
- Provide attentive longitudinal care, monitoring intraocular pressure, optic nerve health, visual fields, and disease progression
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and administrative staff to deliver seamless, high‑quality glaucoma care
- Manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, with emphasis on primary and secondary glaucomas, angle‑closure disease, complex anterior segment pathology, and co‑management of cataract and glaucoma patients
