Practice Success Director/Office Manager
Job Description
Job Description
Job Role: Practice Success Director / Office Manager at Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Lead the operational and cultural heart of a high-performing OMS practice at Arizona Oral Facial and Implant Surgery.
We are seeking an exceptional Practice Success Director / Office Manager to drive excellence in one of the most dynamic and demanding specialties in dentistry and medicine. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will blend strategic vision, operational mastery, and team leadership to deliver outstanding patient outcomes, maximize surgical capacity, and fuel sustainable practice growth.
As the key bridge between clinical excellence and operational performance, you will ensure our practice remains the preferred OMS partner for referring dentists, patients, and the community.
What You’ll Own:
- Patient-Centered Surgical Experience
Champion an exceptional patient journey — from first referral call and anxiety-filled consults to successful surgery and compassionate follow-up care. You will uphold the highest standards of comfort, communication, and clinical coordination. - Strategic Growth & Revenue Leadership
Partner with the Surgeon(s) / Visionary Leader to hit aggressive goals in new patient growth, case acceptance, surgical volume, and production. You’ll own quarterly and annual targets while keeping a sharp eye on key metrics. - High-Performance Team Leadership
Directly lead Treatment Coordinators / Patient Care Coordinators, Strategic Growth Partners (referral development), surgical assistants, administrative staff, and concierges. Hire, train, develop, and inspire a cohesive team that delivers elite service. - Surgical Operations & Efficiency
Master complex surgical scheduling, block time optimization, anesthesia and recovery workflows, implant coordination, and OR efficiency. Continuously improve templates, reduce cancellations/no-shows, and increase capacity without compromising quality or safety. - Referral Network Dominance
Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with referring dentists and specialists. Position the practice as the clear “go-to” OMS provider through consistent communication, case feedback, and collaborative growth initiatives. - Performance Management & Accountability
Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews. Track and improve KPIs including case acceptance rate, production per chair, collection ratio, patient satisfaction, and referral conversion.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a proven leader with strong experience in a surgical or specialty practice (OMS, plastic surgery, or medical specialty preferred). You combine operational rigor with emotional intelligence, understand the unique pace and complexity of oral surgery, and can earn the respect of both clinical and administrative teams while protecting surgeon autonomy.
Compensation
Competitive base salary. Top performers in this role are very well compensated.
This is more than an Office Manager role — it is a true Practice Success Director position for someone ready to take ownership of a thriving oral surgery practice and drive it to the next level.
If you thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment, love turning operational challenges into growth opportunities, and want to play a major role in changing patients’ lives through better access to exceptional OMS care, we want to talk to you.
Apply today — help us grow the gold standard in oral and maxillofacial surgery care.
