Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must be able to deliver cloud engineering solutions by supporting GCP deployments, resolving technical obstacles, and driving secure, scalable architectures.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Support GCP environments by resolving deployment obstacles and acting as a subject matter expert for internal teams.

• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform to build reliable, immutable, and scalable cloud solutions.

• Optimize GKE and Kubernetes‑based workloads through troubleshooting, configuration tuning, and root‑cause analysis.

• Manage cloud components such as IAM, VPC, storage, logging, and security controls to ensure resilient operations.

• Enhance observability by leveraging tools like Prometheus, Stackdriver, and OTEL for monitoring and performance insights.

• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to interpret technical requirements and deliver secure, high‑availability cloud architectures.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.

• Candidate will have 1–5 years of experience in cloud engineering with GCP environments.

• Must possess strong hands‑on expertise with Terraform for IaC automation and cloud infrastructure deployment.

• Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes/GKE operations and container orchestration technologies.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $47.00 per hour
