We are seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to drive multiple strategic initiatives and implement excellence across operations, sales and compliance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can develop project plans, execute efficiently, implement systems and improvement initiatives, and hold stakeholders accountable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is an independent operator with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and experience in operational excellence and continuous improvement. This position is based in Tempe, Arizona and only candidates within a commutable distance to our Tempe office will be considered .
Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, define objectives, identify stakeholders, and ensure timely execution.
Project Portfolio Management: overseeing project intake and tracking.
Partner with leaders and team members to deploy improvement initiatives and drive process innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams including Payroll, Client Services, Human Resources, Data Operations, and others to develop and implement improvement roadmaps.
Optimize and continually improve initiative tracking, communication, and change management systems.
Accountability & Execution: Drive projects to completion, ensuring all components align with business objectives, top level goals, and deadlines.
Adaptability & Change Management: Thrive in an environment where priorities shift frequently and rapid execution is critical.
What You Bring:
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on project management experience, with a proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Leadership: Strong, assertive project manager who can hold teams accountable and drive results independently.
Execution & Impact: Ability to define project scope, align stakeholders, execute, and measure success.
Industry Knowledge: HCM experience is a plus but not required. Tech background is highly preferred. Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement experience is highly preferred.
Tools & AI Expertise: Experience managing AI-driven projects and familiarity with relevant tools preferred.
