We are seeking an experienced Air Filter Service Tech Lead to oversee our Air Filter service operations in the second shift. This position combines leadership, technical expertise, and fieldwork — supervising and training service technicians, managing key accounts, conducting high end air filter change-outs, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate has strong HVAC service experience, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

· Survey all potential new service accounts along with new equipment at current service accounts

· Manages key accounts: Communication with customers and the Sales team with any changes or needs

· Route management with service coordinator

· Training and meetings with service techs

· Maintains equipment – Ladders, drills, safety gear for techs

· Coordinate Truck Maintenance works to go in for service

· Risk/Safety mitigation

· Quality control checks in field

· Work order updates if data is incorrect

· Coordinates with other departments for inventory, scheduling etc.

· Make initial contact with the person in charge when arriving on site and explain the day's work.

· Install HVAC filters in various types of air handlers.

· Perform visual inspections of each unit during the service.

· Take notes of any deficiencies and forward it to manager to contact the customer.

· Have the paperwork signed.

· Make deliveries and pickups when necessary.

· Must be a team player, able to work w/ others.

· Travel is required for out-of-town services, service quotes and training.

· Assist with warehouse activities related to service

· Must be able to help support all shifts to effectively supervise, train and support the needs of our customers.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· HVAC technical Certification from accredited school

· Experience with hand tools

· Forklift driver experience is preferred

· OSHA 10 or above required

· 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC

· Surveying

· Safety Training

· High School diploma

· Must have transportation to the branch

· Must be able to climb ladders and work in heights

· Able to lift 25+ pounds as needed

· Experience working indoors and outdoors

· Experience driving 16ft box trucks

· Feel comfortable working with hand tools

· Valid driver’s license

· Clean driving record

· Must be able to pass a DOT Physical Examination

· Full-Time

· Basic math skill is needed to be able to figure percentages and to verify figures.

· Must be able to communicate w/ customers and co workers

· Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited in the warehouse and production areas
