**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a part-time Steward and Prep Cook to join our team. The Steward and Prep Cook will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation.
1. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, glassware, and utensils.
2. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling dishes.
3. Organize and store kitchen equipment and utensils.
4. Help with inventory management and stock rotation.
5. Follow food safety protocols and guidelines.
6. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow. **Qualifications:**
1. Previous experience as a Steward, Dishwasher, or Prep Cook is advantageous.
2. Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
3. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
4. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
5. Attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness.
6. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
