Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of expertise with Python Solid knowledge of web services include protocol, REST, and JSON
• Experience with Git/Github
• 5+ years of experience with Linux administration Experience with private cloud implementations such as OpenStack
• The cloud infrastructure engineer will play a key role in the design, integration, and operation of a massively scalable cloud operating platform for client.
• Candidate will work with engineering and operations teams to further automate processes throughout the entire stack from application to network.
• This person will interface with technical leads throughout the enterprise to close the continuous integration and continuous deployment loop leading the organization toward Platform as a Service and Software as a Service.
• Candidate must have strong Python development skills and integration engineering experience working in a complex business environment.
• The individual should also be able to architect solutions for integrating disparate systems and implementing custom business processes.
• Must have experience working with REST APIs, message queues (RabbitMQ), databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQLAlchemy, NoSQL), distributed systems technologies (Celery).
• Individuals should also have experience working in an agile environment and hands-on experience with Vagrant, virtualenv, virtualization technologies and Git/Github
