Warehouse Manager - University of Arizona Athletics
The Warehouse Manager, University of Arizona Athletics, is accountable for the program’s product inventory, purchasing, receiving, warehouse processes, and distribution of products through the execution of standard operational policies and procedures for the Concessions Food & Bevage operations.
- Manages the warehouse team by actively coordinating, coaching, and directing performance management.
- Achieves financial objectives by managing key metrics for cost controls, identifying opportunities, and developing action plans for improvement.
- Responsible for ensuring prompt, pleasant and complete service is provided to internal and external contacts needing product or information.
- Provides and supports safety leadership for all the Concessions operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Directs in-bound and out-bound inventories of merchandise, equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization of products
- Full utilization on Yellow Dog, inventory management system.
- Tracks, reconciles, and orders product inventories for the Concessions operations to effectively manage out-of-stock, out-of-date products, and weeks-on-hand to fulfill client needs
- Communicate with other salaried managers and frontline personnel regarding any outs, delays or other product changes that may affect our event service as well as discussing alternative product needs.
- Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment.
- Manages warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates, and pulls product and ensures that work is completed using safe practices.
- Participates in the hiring process for warehouse team.
- Responsible for the training, coaching and performance management of each member of the warehouse team.
- Monitors workflow and ensure proper inventories are pulled for daily routes.
- Supervises the completion of all daily warehouse work.

Qualifications
Requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse or related operations
Must have prior experience with direct reports including hiring, coaching, and developing talent.
Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Must have excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Must have the ability to work an event based schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays.
