Test Engineer Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a visionary Test Engineer Manager with a passion for automation, innovation, and leadership to drive the future of software testing. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Selenium and Python , a strong grasp of AI-assisted testing tools like GitHub Copilot , and a proven track record of leading high-performing Test Engineer teams.

You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our testing practice, mentoring engineers, and implementing cutting-edge automation frameworks that scale with our products. Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Architect and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Python , and modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development and improve code quality.

• Define and drive the future vision of testing within the organization, including AI-driven testing, predictive analytics, and autonomous test generation .

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product, Development) to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to implement change.

• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the team and tools future-ready .

• Design and implement automated dashboards and reporting systems to track test coverage, defect trends, automation ROI, and release readiness.

• Define and monitor key quality metrics (e.g., test pass/fail rates, defect leakage, test execution time, automation coverage).

• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

• Use metrics to identify bottlenecks, forecast risks , and continuously improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Promote a metrics-driven culture within the testing team to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation .

• Deep expertise in Selenium WebDriver , Python , and test automation frameworks.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in a testing context.

• Proven leadership experience managing and scaling testing or test automation teams.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and cloud-based testing environments.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to envision and execute a roadmap for the future of testing .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Background in AI/ML testing or interest in exploring AI-driven quality engineering.

• Contributions to open-source testing tools or frameworks.
