The Certified Pharmacy Technician will serve a vital role in supporting COPILOT’s non-dispensing pharmacy by assisting the Pharmacist-in-Charge with the provision of clinical HUB pharmacy services. This role requires effective and clear communication with colleagues, providers, clients, and patients. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-directed, responsible, ethical, and service-oriented individual with a proven track record of exceeding expectations in the healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years' experience in the medical/healthcare field (i.e. hub services, pharmacy, doctor's office, hospital administration, etc.), required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age* (*As required by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy)
• Clear criminal record/Show lawful presence in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, preferred.
• Hold an active, non-restricted Arizona Pharmacy Technician License, obtained via PTCB or ExCPT examination.
• Maintain CPhT licensure per Arizona Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Candidates actively registered as Pharmacy Technician Trainees in Arizona may be considered, but must obtain Pharmacy Technician licensure within 12 months from the date of hire or prior to licensure expiration, whichever comes first.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy practice, including regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build strong relationships with patients, providers, and colleagues.
• Self-directed and highly motivated with a strong work ethic (previous work experience in remote pharmacy is preferred)
• Proficiency in utilization of pharmacy software (SuiteRx) and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred.
• Must be a team player willing to accept and promote organizational goals and function with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Pharmacist with providing clinical pharmacy HUB services to promote patient access, medication adherence, and affordability.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, as well as applicable company personnel
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service in areas including (but not limited to) answering phone calls from clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, prescribers, and in assisting patients with questions about medications, where applicable.
• Perform all pharmacy duties in a safe, accurate, and compliant manner that aligns with company policies/procedures and federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Ensure knowledge and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Prescription Processing: Process and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system, collect all necessary information from customers and health professionals.
• Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, shift will be between 8:00 AM-5:30 PM MST, based on team needs.

Compensation:

Offer based upon experience, education, and interview process. Benefits are eligible, when meeting certain requirements.
