Floor Manager - Scottsdale
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the tasks of employees on shift to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
- Ensures that guests experience the highest level of service by effectively training, coaching and developing employees.
- Provide regular communications between management, team leaders, and subordinates.
- Complete shift notes daily.
- Takes ownership for hospitality and guest experience, addressing concerns and finding solutions in response to guest feedback.
- Complete the opening and closing checklists daily, while on shift.
- Overall management of guest services and employee relations, communicating with GM & HR.
- Responsible for daily cash handling.
- Responsible for balancing drawers, issuing drawers, filling out the daily safe log, ticket log, and weekly ticket inventory.
- Assists in recruitment and hiring of FOH staff which includes Roadie Reps, Bartenders and Expediters, adhering to established RoadHouse protocol to ensure effective hiring and minimal turnover.
- Conducts voids and refunds audit.
- Conducts weekly ticket inventory audit.
- Walks the building to observe and report safety compliance and maintenance needs.
- Assists with injury reports for guests and/or employees.
- Monitors and controls cleanliness of building, theatres, and restrooms.
- Monitors for potential theft from policy abuse by guests to internal theft by employees, and notifies GM, HR and/or owners immediately.
- Understands how projectors work and can trouble shoot when needed.
- Uses proper procedures and follows set policies.
- Maintains situational awareness, knowing when and where to step in and assist, including running food and drinks, or assisting at the bar or concession stand when needed.
- Work on projects or tasks assigned by the GM or AGM.
- Constantly taking the pulse of the business, with a presence most often on the floor, not in an office.
- Responsible for Answering messages that come in from social media and respond to reviews on social media (up to 1 hours per day weekdays social media on a daily basis)
- Coordinate the comment card & mystery shopper program Collected each week and send out a report to Management and Ownership
- Conduct random F&B quality and cleanliness inspections and report findings to GM & Ownership
Must have the following qualifications:
- Previous hospitality and guest service experience
- Title 4 and Food Handlers card
- Knowledge of modern filing and recordkeeping practices and procedures.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, G suite, word processing, email and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to positively communicate and instruct team members, offering assistance in areas where they lack knowledge, skills or experience.
- Ability to balance the concepts of teamwork, guest service, and profitability.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
- Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
