Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Tucson, AZ. This role is ideal for a dependable technician with strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on HVAC experience, and a commitment to quality service.

As an HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and/or light commercial customers throughout Tucson and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues efficiently and accurately.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and system checks to ensure proper operation.
- Communicate with customers professionally and explain recommended repairs or service findings clearly.
- Complete work in accordance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes.
- Maintain accurate job records, service documentation, and required paperwork.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical HVAC issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Perform routine service inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Provide professional customer service while completing accurate documentation.

- 3 to 5 years of HVAC experience preferred for this opportunity.
- EPA Certified a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in Arizona heat conditions.
- Knowledge of HVAC safety practices, service procedures, and local code compliance.
- Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain service needs clearly to customers.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with both residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience servicing furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, and related HVAC equipment.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with the team.
