Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel opportunity places you at the heart of a Level I Trauma Center renowned for transplant specialties and neuroscience, providing hands-on engagement with diverse patient populations and advanced medical practices. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians and budding nursing students in a collaborative environment, gaining exposure to varied workplace dynamics and innovative leadership. This assignment not only builds your skills but also enhances your resume with sought-after experience at a nationally recognized academic medical center.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekly Orientations on Mondays (except during holiday weeks)
- 13-week assignment minimum
Requirements & Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of two years’ recent core ER experience in a Level I Trauma and teaching facility
- Prior travel nursing experience in Emergency, Neuro ICU, or related units
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
- Must pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to acceptance (two attempts permitted)
- No facial piercings; hair must be natural colors
- Return eligibility: 12 months since last perm staff role with Commonspirit health system
- Candidates must not hold multiple concurrent assignments within associated hospital systems
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Precept and mentor nursing students as part of this teaching hospital team
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex cases, including transplant and advanced neuro care
- Ensure all documentation and onboarding is complete prior to your assignment start
