Compensation: $140 - $160 / hr

Care Setting: High-Acuity Labor & Delivery | Hospital-Based Only

Position Summary

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a high-performing inpatient care team at a respected hospital in Gilbert, Arizona. This part-time position is perfect for physicians looking to remain clinically active without the demands of a full-time schedule. Focus solely on inpatient care—no clinic or outpatient follow-ups—within a collaborative, high-acuity setting.

Schedule

• Part-Time Commitment: 3–4 shifts per month
• Shift Length Options: 24-hour or 12-hour shifts available
• No on-call required outside of scheduled shifts

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $140–$160 per hour (depending on experience and shift length)
• Malpractice Insurance: Provided with full tail coverage
• Licensing & Credentialing Reimbursement: Included

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee patients in labor, including complex or high-risk cases
• Perform deliveries, C-sections, and urgent gynecologic procedures
• Handle OB consults from the ED and inpatient units
• Work closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other clinical staff
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR

Ideal Candidate Profile

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school
• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
• Completed an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
• Holds or is eligible for medical licensure in Arizona
• Experience in inpatient OB or hospitalist settings strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing emergent OB/GYN cases in a collaborative setting
