Senior Director, Accounting Controller

Role Overview

As the Senior Director, Accounting Controller, you will build and lead the accounting function across Drive Health. You will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal control frameworks, compliance, and audit processes. Partnering closely with executive leadership and our FP&A team, you will ensure that Drive Health’s financial foundation supports its rapid growth and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable,

reconciliations, payroll, and fixed asset accounting

 Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with U.S.

GAAP to support our growth

 Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely close cycles, accurate

cost allocations, and variance analysis

 Manage external bookkeeping and advisory relationships, transitioning accounting

functions in-house as we scale

 Coordinate annual audits, including preparation of financial statements and acting as the

primary liaison for external auditors

 Ensure technical compliance with accounting standards, including capitalization of

internally developed software and revenue recognition for customer contracts

 Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash-

management strategies

Qualifications

 CPA required

 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership responsibility in a high-

growth or scaling organization

 Experience in SaaS or healthcare technology preferred

 Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 350-40, and ASC 985-20

 Proven track record of building accounting policies and managing audits

 Strong proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, and cross-functional

collaboration

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with executive leadership

and external partners
