GoLang Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a GoLang Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate is skilled in requirements analysis and end‑to‑end development, including unit, integration, and performance testing .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

GoLang Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Perform requirements analysis and contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.

• Develop scalable applications using GoLang across monolithic and microservices architectures.

• Execute unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure delivery of high‑quality, reliable software.

• Provide post‑installation validation and production support for deployed components.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies to deliver project outcomes.

• Lead and mentor team members on assigned application components, ensuring adherence to best coding practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 7–9 years of hands‑on experience in software development, preferably with strong GoLang expertise.

• Proven ability to design, develop, and test applications across monolithic and microservices architectures.

• Experience working in hybrid, cloud, and on‑prem environments with strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
