- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient needs are met.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, preferably in a pain management or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
