VP of Marketing
Vice President of Marketing
Position Overview
A leading home services organization in Arizona is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead strategy, execution, and performance across a high-growth, multi-market business.
This executive will be responsible for building and scaling a marketing function that drives customer acquisition, strengthens brand presence, improves retention, and enhances the overall customer experience across the Phoenix and Tucson markets.
This is a highly visible, performance-driven leadership role for a marketing operator who understands how to connect brand, demand generation, and customer insights directly to revenue, market share, and return on investment.
Why This Role Exists
The company is in a strong growth phase and sees marketing as a critical lever for continued expansion. This role has been created to bring senior-level leadership, stronger strategic alignment, and greater accountability for performance to the marketing function.
The right leader will modernize and elevate marketing capabilities while ensuring every dollar spent is aligned to measurable business outcomes.

Strengthen full-funnel marketing performance across digital and traditional channels
Create a more unified brand presence while maintaining local-market flexibility
Establish clear reporting, forecasting, dashboarding, and testing rhythms
Build strong cross-functional alignment with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology
Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Marketing Strategy
Own and lead the overall marketing strategy in alignment with growth goals and market expansion plans
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on brand positioning, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics
Drive an integrated marketing approach across acquisition, retention, and customer experience
Manage and optimize a marketing budget of $10M+ with strong fiscal discipline and ROI accountability
Lead, coach, and develop an internal marketing team of five

Own full-funnel demand generation strategy across paid search, paid social, SEO, display, CTV, email, and emerging channels
Improve campaign performance across lead generation, conversion, booking rates, and revenue contribution
Strengthen channel attribution, segmentation, reporting, and optimization efforts
Ensure marketing investments are evaluated against clear performance metrics and business impact
Brand Strategy & Customer Experience
Strengthen and evolve the company’s brand strategy across multiple markets
Lead integrated campaigns, content initiatives, advertising, and customer-facing brand experiences
Ensure consistency across digital, print, branch-level, and customer touchpoints

Support employer brand and recruiting-related marketing initiatives in collaboration with HR and Communications as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a data-driven, commercially minded B2C marketing leader who has successfully built and scaled marketing programs in a high-velocity, local-market environment.
This role is best suited for someone who has owned real business outcomes inside an operating company, not someone whose experience is limited to agency-side leadership or brand strategy alone.
Target Background Includes:
10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including senior or executive-level responsibility
Proven success leading marketing for a local, consumer-facing service business
Home services experience is highly preferred; franchise or multi-location consumer services experience is also highly relevant
Deep expertise in demand generation, performance marketing, and full-funnel optimization
Strong experience managing large budgets and improving marketing efficiency and ROI
High analytical fluency, including attribution, forecasting, experimentation, and KPI management
Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop teams while remaining hands-on when needed
Experience in modernizing marketing systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Phoenix-area candidates strongly preferred; relocation support may be considered for the right individual
Non-Negotiables
Has owned marketing outcomes inside a business, not just through outside client or vendor relationships
Can speak credibly to marketing performance using metrics such as CAC, CPA, LTV, conversion rate, lead quality, booking rate, close rate, and revenue per lead
Has partnered closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Willing to be both strategic and hands-on
About the Company
This is a well-established, growth-oriented home services company with a strong market presence in Arizona and ambitious plans for continued expansion. This role offers the opportunity to join a highly visible leadership team and make a direct impact on growth, brand strength, and market position.
