Job Summary:
Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cook to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry, with no nights, weekends or holidays required. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals for our customers. This individual will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner.
This Cook position at Selrico Services Inc. offers a competitive hourly salary of $15 per hour, paid weekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor and maintain food inventory levels
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Help with menu planning and creating new dishes as needed
- Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize waste
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Excellent time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and weekdays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
