How You'll Contribute

A Polysomnographic Technician (BRPT) who excels in this role:

• Provide care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment.
• Prepare for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test.
• Interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
• Perform testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder that is noted.
• Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies.
• Educate patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing. Determine and report needed repairs and replacements.
• Maintain proper supplies to care for patients.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

• Sleep lab experience and/or education.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• RPSGT or RST preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
