About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Chef to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As the Banquet Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food served at our events. You will work closely with our event planners to create menus that meet the needs and preferences of our clients. Your attention to detail and ability to manage a team of culinary professionals will be essential to the success of our events.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Chef, with a focus on banquet or event catering
• Proven ability to manage a team of culinary professionals
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Serve safe certified
• Both white chef coat and black chef coat uniform
• Full knife kit

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary degree or certification
• Experience working in a high-volume banquet or event setting
• Experience with menu planning and recipe development
• Experience with inventory management and ordering
• Experience with cost control and budget management

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food served at events
• Collaborate with event planners to create menus that meet client needs and preferences
• Manage a team of culinary professionals, including scheduling and training
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
