We are seeking an important role for our company: FLOORING FIELD SUPERINTENDENT

Select Interiors, LLC is searching for an experienced Floorcovering Field Superintendent. Candidates who possess the required skills will be evaluated immediately.

Our ideal candidate has the skills to manage field personnel, conduct job-site inspections and oversee installations in the field; Someone who is a self-starter, personally well-organized and manage time efficiently.

Field Superintendents are responsible for:

• Job walks inspecting readiness conditions and identifying substandard work affecting installations
• Making field operational decisions and judgments
• Managing installer job site performance and conduct
• Routine walks at start of the installations, during and final walk at completion
• Ensure prepared substrates meet all industry specifications in which flooring is to be installed.
• Post inspections of all work upon completion ensuring all quality expectations are met.
• Attend weekly meetings in-person or via tele communications to review status of projects with Director of Operations and Project Managers

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Flooring installation experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and understand work orders, blue-prints and correlate with diagrams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Communicate effectively with other tradesmen and customers
• Understand and write change orders as needed
• Must have product knowledge and understanding of the appropriate use with diverse types of adhesives, caulking, sealers, floor prep products and cement mortars / grouts.
• Must have the ability to resolve issues such as scheduling conflicts or substandard work by other trades
