We are expanding our crew!We are hiring a part-time store clerk. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn about flags, flagpoles and work for a small, locally owned business

We are seeking an exceptional Retail Sales Clerk, for a Part Time position to become an integral part of our team!

You will be responsible for assisting customers in learning about Flags and Flagpoles, selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to provide a friendly customer experience and contribute to the success of the company.

Daytime hours, 20- 25 hours weekly. Hours may expand in the future. Paid on the job training.

Store Hours are Monday- Friday between the hours of 9:30am and 5:15pm and Saturday 9:30am and 4:15pm.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify walk in customer needs
• Answer phones and assist customers with phone and internet orders
• Professionally respond to customer emails.
• Explain Flag and Flagpole products and services to customers
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets of inventory and ordering needs
• Keep displays filled and the store clean
• Enter and process customer orders in Quickbooks
• Receive and ship stock
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable and motivated team member
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs and use a ladder.
• Drug-Free Workplace subject to random testing

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.35 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
