Assistant Director
Summary
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and helping them grow? Do you have leadership experience in childcare settings? We’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Assistant Director to join our team and help manage a high-quality childcare center, currently rated 4 stars with quality first!
Duties- Support the Director in overseeing day-to-day operations of the center.
- Ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Supervise, mentor, and train a team of teachers and childcare staff.
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with curriculum goals.
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
- Assist in managing staff schedules and conducting performance evaluations..
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- 3 – 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
- High energy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A strong understanding of child development and AZ state regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check.
- Food Handlers Card
